OrthoConnecticut Officially Opens Litchfield Office With Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Litchfield, CT – OrthoConnecticut, the combined practice of New Milford Orthopedics, Danbury Orthopedics, Connecticut Pain Care and Coastal Orthopedics, is hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, August 27th at 5pm. This event will officially recognize the OrthoConnecticut Litchfield office which opened its doors this past spring. The Northwest CT Chamber of Commerce as well as Litchfield’s First Selectman, Leo Paul, will officiate the ceremony. OrthoConnecticut’s newest office is staffed by four fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons with areas of expertise in Sports Medicine, Hand and Upper Extremity issues, Total Joint Replacement, Spine, Shoulder and Foot and Ankle issues. The doctors, who represented the following multiple specialties: hip and knee arthroplasty, total and reverse shoulder replacement, minimally invasive spine surgery, thumb basal joint arthritis, ankle arthritis and treatment of rotator cuff tears, educated the audience on surgery, rehabilitation and more. OrthoConnecticut Announces Expanded Office Hours for Dr. Frank Hermantin and Dr. Randolph Sealey in New Milford and Sharon, CT Danbury, CT—We are happy to announce that Spine specialist Dr. Frank Hermantin is now available for patient appointments in our New Milford and Sharon offices. Beginning on Monday, February 5, 2018, Foot & Ankle specialist, Dr. Randolph Sealey will also begin seeing patients at the New Milford office. These additional office hours will complement their existing patient schedules at the practice’s Musculoskeletal Center of Excellence at 2 Riverview Drive in Danbury. The New Milford office is conveniently located at 131 Kent Rd in New Milford, and the Sharon office is centrally located in the northern part of the county at 50 Amenia Rd in Sharon. Dr. Frank Hermantin, a fellowship-trained spinal surgeon, specializes in minimally invasive back surgery, and performs more minimally invasive discectomies and outpatient spine surgeries than any other spine surgeon in the community. OrthoConnecticut Welcomes Five New Physicians

Danbury CT – OrthoConnecticut/Danbury Orthopedics is pleased to welcome five new physicians to the practice. The new team members include Board-eligible orthopedic surgeons Justin C. Paul, MD, PhD and Paul M. Tomaszewski, MS, MD, Board-certified orthopedic surgeon James W. Depuy, MD; and Board-certified pain management specialists Jesse T. Hochkeppel, MD, and David S. Kloth, MD. Dr. Justin Paul, an orthopedic surgeon and spine surgery specialist, received his BS degree in Biology from Johns Hopkins University, and his PhD in Neurobiology from The Rockefeller University. He received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and his spine residency at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases.  He trained in minimally invasive spine surgery at Rush University and has published numerous scientific articles on avoiding complications in spine surgery. Oh, Snap! Danbury Group Helps Patient Gain Mobility With Ankle Replacement BETHEL, CT – Debbie Mullady snapped and dislocated her ankle in a fall heading down steps at her Bethel home in December 2001. Fourteen years of pain, limited mobility and frustration ensued until she underwent ankle replacement surgery at the hands of Dr. Randolph Sealey of Danbury Orthopedics. Debbi Mullady of Bethel endured 14 years of pain after breaking her ankle in a fall at her home. She finally got relief with ankle replacement performed by Danbury Orthopedics and Dr. Randolph Sealey. Mullady, who had the surgery in December 2015, almost 14 years to the day after the fall, is now back to full health.
