Muscle strains are very common for people of all ages and can occur while engaging in any type of activity.  Sports enthusisasts are particularly prone and commonly have to rest while muscle pulls or tears heal.  The thigh’s three sets of strong muscles include the hamstring (back), the quadriceps (front), and the adductors (inside).
