Jan E. McCauley, PA-C

Jan McCauley PA-C joined OrthoConnecticut in 2013. She began her career in Rochester, NY at Unity Health system where she worked as a surgical PA. In 2004 she relocated to southern CT and took a position with ONS in Greenwich working with othropaedic and neurosurgery patients. Most recently Jan has been on staff at Norwalk hospital. She is a staff PA on the orthopaedic service; helping to care for the OrthoConnecticut surgeons in hospital patients. While on staff Jan served on the trauma committee working to improve care of the acutely injured patient. She was also a member of the patient satisfaction team and helped implement policies that focused on patients and their families.

Jan is very involved in teaching at Norwalk Hospital. As a preceptor to PA students and PA surgical residents she often gives lectures and sets up clinical workshops. She mentors PA surgical residents throughout their one year post graduate training.

Jan earned her BS in biology from Houghton college and her Masters in physician assistant studies from Chatham college in Pittsburgh.
