Dr. Paul, I want to thank you so much for the care you gave to my mom.
I can’t believe we accomplished something so miraculous in the last year. I am not sure if you remember, but when mom fell ill with her back issue, I drove straight from Washington, DC, to advocate for her care, and continued to do so on a weekly basis until she came out of surgery. It was important to do this because I saw how mom’s case slipped through the healthcare system. But when we came to your office, we felt respected and cared for. It made me feel like the work I do matters for our country.
I depart for my onward assignment with the US Government next Thursday. I’ll be away for three years. I could not have taken on this assignment had mom not had surgery under your care. The work you did impact more than just one woman’s life. It saved a whole family.
Thank you so much, Dr. Paul.
