John Sakowich has been a Physician Assistant at OrthoConnecticut for many years. He is a part of The Sports Medicine Center and is working exclusively with Dr. Ross Henshaw. John has assisted in a multitude of surgeries making him qualified to help treat a wide variety of orthopedic issues.

While getting his undergraduate degree in Human Movement with a concentration on Exercise Science at Sacred Heart University, John was a NCAA Div. 1 Track and Field Team Captain. He then went on to attend Touro College to become a Physician Assistant. He is still an avid runner and frequently participates in obstacle course races, such as the Spartan race, so he is no stranger to the stresses placed upon an athlete's body. Whether it's a shoulder, knee or hip injury, John has helped treat patients and athletes of all ages.
